I have known the Redford family for years, and was thrilled when they wanted me to shoot their family portraits in Oakland. The Oakland Hills are a special place for the Tawny Redford: her grandmother grew up here, and she spent a lot of time here as a child. Please enjoy their adorable photos. My amazing associate photographer Jen Schmidt shot this wedding for me in Napa last summer. Jenny and Clark are friends of mine so of course I was sad that I couldn’t shoot it myself. Jen did a wonderful job documenting their special day and I’m so glad that I’ve taken her on as a photographer on my team. The wedding went without a hitch with the help of a great group of vendors. The live music was provided by The Get Down Boys, the food catered by Fume Bistro, and the beautiful Ketubah by Jennifer Raichman.

Erica is a dear friend of mine and I was honored when she asked me to shoot her quaint wedding.  They has a small ceremony in the beautiful San Francisco City Hall & reception at the iconic Perbacco Resturaunt.   It was short, sweet and elegant.  I am so happy that they contacted me to be their wedding photographer.  Congrats again to PJ & Erica!

Anne and Rob ordered this beautiful album from Leather Craftsmen. I loved it so much I ordered a studio sample for myself! The album pages are flush-mount, reinforced photo paper. The leather is the highest quality and looks beautiful. I love the custom cutout on the cover; it really brings life to the album. Thank you Anne and Rob for having such a wonderful wedding, and thank you Leather Craftmen for having such a high quality product!

I was lucky enough to be awarded the ‘Best Photographer’ by the Lamorinda Mom’s group last year. Voting is coming up again soon, I’ll make sure to send a link! Please enjoy some images from my first session with the Lamorinda Moms at their SummerFest event. They were kind enough to let me have a photo booth at the event and I got to meet all the wonderful kids in their mom’s group.  I am hoping to be a part of their event this year too:)  I took so many photos of all the cute kids, but these are some of my favorite images from the day.

The 3rd Annual Summer Fest will take place this year on Sunday, June 24, 11am-1pm at the Campolindo Soccer Fields.

I had been looking for a “green” wedding album company for a few years.  When I found Wild Magnolia Design, my search was over!  They make incredible albums from materials that are either made from recycled content, renewable fibers, or both.  Not only are their priorities in place but the quality is wonderful.  Please see the wonderful sample album I had printed for my studio below.  It is a copy of my wonderful couple Grace & Matthew’s wedding from 2010 in Livermore, Ca.  Thank you Wild Magnolia for creating a product that I an not only be proud of  – but also feel good about:)

Carrie & Eric were referred to me by her sister – a dear friend of mine.  I was really honored when they decided to book me – and excited to shoot this San Francisco wedding!  They were married at the Stanford Court Hotel, which is located at the top of California street with breath taking views of the city and trolley cars whizzing by at all hours of the day.  It was a fun and very iconic place to shoot a wedding.  A lot of the event was put on by the hotel, but there were some stand out vendors.  Ellen Kim at Gingerleaf Floral did the beautiful flowers, their videographer from Permagrin did a spectacular job documenting the entire event, Carol Attia at Under the Chuppah did a wonderful job with their Chuppah and they rocked out with Fog City Entertainment until the wee hours of the night.  Carrie & Eric were so easy to work with and really know how to put on a beautiful event.  Congrats again to you both! Allison and Linn live in Seattle, but wanted to celebrate their wedding in the lovely city of San Francisco!  They were married at the Letterman Digital Arts Center in the beautiful garden over looking the Golden Gate Bridge in June of last year.  I was so thrilled when they asked me to shoot their wedding.  Their wonderful reception was at the iconic Presidio Social Club which was a perfect venue for this intimate wedding.  Allison’s as well as the bridesmaid’s flowers were also used at table decorations and were done by Allison’s close friend Kim Itani (who in my opinion should do flowers for a living!) – what a great idea!  We had great weather and we even got to see the Golden Gate bridge for a few minutes!  It truly was a beautiful, intimate wedding.  I can’t thank Allison and Linn enough fro having me be a part of their special day!

I wanted to give a quick thanks to all my clients of 2011!  I had a very busy year and with the arrival of our little one (Due March 4, 2012) I have a feeling 2012 is going to be even busier!  I chose some of my favorite photos from my holiday family portraits from this year in this little collage.  You were all so fun to photograph, I can’t wait to see you all again soon:)
